2nd application period
Open: April 13 (Mon), 2026, 12:00 JST*
Close: April 20 (Mon), 2026, 17:00 JST*
・Courses starting from July*
*Students and non-students living in Japan are able to apply for all courses.
*The courses that are full in the first application period cannot be applied for.

3rd application period
Open: May 25 (Mon), 2026, 12:00 JST*
Close: May 29(Fri), 2026, 12:00 JST*
・Courses starting from August or later
・The courses that are full in the first/second application period cannot be applied for.
*JST=Japan Standard Time

Detailed information of HSI2026 will be available in late January 2026, and online application (1st) will start in March.
*Hokkaido University students do not need to apply online.
During the course registration period for each semester and term, you only need to register for courses in the same way as regular courses.
