World Crises of Migration/Refugee Law and Politics: Its Past, Present, and Future (Old title: Let’s think about refugee and migration issues: With Regard to Multiculturalism)

This 2017 Summer institute of Hokkaido University, deals with the reality of undocumented people across Mexican border, and the related conflicting principles regarding immigration law in the U.S. The history of discrimination regarding Asian Americans will also be dealt with. Comparatively, migration issues in European countries as well as in the Middle East will also be covered.
